James, liked your article on paradigm shift in working of an Industrial Products 'Salespeople' , using social networking with the modern technology way. What prompts me to respond is that 'Technicians' / 'Engineers' in Technical Service, Manufacturing fields other then 'Technical Salesperson' is a double edged sword. What I found then (1964), and what is true even now (2012), is that these 'Technicians' / 'Engineers' in Technical Service people feel expressing their opinion on the Product Weakness and Technical Flaws, rather then the product Features & Benefits. With this caution in mind, it is a good idea to increase the sales force the way you have shown. Regards, Homi Mullan
